Export your event plans into high-resolution outputs
After clicking on ‘Export / Print’ button on the top panel, you will see a pop-up window asking what type of Export you'd like. There are two options, Make a presentation and Request a Screenshot.
The 'Make a presentation' option allows you to create multiple screenshots, and add them to a Storyboard. To do this, press the 'Add Storyboard' button that appears on the bottom panel. This will take a screenshot of whatever parts of your map are on-screen.
You can add as many screenshots as you like, and rename and delete them as you wish.
Once your storyboard is ready, click on the export icon on the right.
OnePlan will then generate a PDF of your storyboard. The export takes a few minutes to generate, we estimate around 5 minutes per screenshot. While your PDF is being prepared, you can track its progress in the export queue, by clicking on the icon above the export button. This shows a list of all the requested presentations with the status (e.g. ‘In progress’ or a time when the processing has been completed). When your export is ready, it gets emailed to you (using the email address associated with your OnePlan account). You can download your presentation from the email, or from your browser.
The PDF file consists of a front page and screenshots with key pages. A front page shows the event name, the storyboard name, the event location, the export date and time and your email address.
Next pages show screenshots with their view names from the user’s storyboard. These screenshot pages have a scale to understand the land size, and the compass icon to understand the orientation of the map before exporting. The pages also show the event name, storyboard title, and event location.
After each map screenshot, there's a key/legend on the following page so everyone can easily understand what is happening on the map. The objects are all listed in alphabetical order and will include the names you have given to objects (if you have renamed them), not what they are called in the object menu. Any labels you may have put on your objects will also show on these lists (e.g. 'Manager - N - consulting'). If you have multiple objects with the same name and label, a quantity is shown in brackets at the end of the label (e.g. 'Manager - N - consulting (3)').
The lists shown on these pages only include the objects within each screenshot (not all the objects placed in the event). If your event includes floorplans, the key only shows the objects on the floorplan level you selected. The object icons on these legend pages are designed to resemble what you see in each screenshot as much as possible. You can copy the list of objects from the key page as text.
