Editing Images For Overlay Import
This article shows how to take any format of plan (DWG, PDF, etc.) and prepare it ready for import into OnePlan.
OnePlan allows you to import overlays onto the map to enable you to plan indoor events, or to import a CAD drawing of any event to then add objects onto the top of it. .
To start with, you need an image of the building or your site plan that you want to import.
Depending on who has drawn this, you may find it comes in one of several formats, such as DWG, PDF or JPEG.
These drawings often have large amounts of white space around them and need to be converted to a PNG file that OnePlan accepts.
