Share Link, Disable or Forgotten Password

This article advises the steps to take to rest a share link password in OnePlan.

With OnePlan’s Pro plans you can set a password to your view-only link for extra security.

With this, you can decide who views your link, and easily allow or revoke access to recipients by changing the password.

First off all, a reminder of how to set your share link password:

Adding a password to your link

  1. Set your password following the criteria provided

Disable or Reset a Share Link Password

How to disable the password

You can disable password protection by clicking on the toggle.

Note: This will not disable the link entirely. To do this you must click on the toggle to the right of ‘Enable public link’ above.

How to change the password

To change the password, click on the password field again and type out your new password.

When you set a new password, this will apply to all recipients the link has been sent to.

What if I forget my password for the link or want to change it?

You can reset the password for any link you've shared in the same way that you set the password. If you’ve forgotten the password, you can create a new one or always disable the link.

For security reasons, we never display your existing passwords, and cannot retrieve them for you. When setting passwords please be aware that they known by you and only you.
